Bead Soup~ What I Sent

The Whole KIT & KABOODLE!
I've been excited about participating in Bead Soup since I first stumbled upon it months ago. I eagerly read others blogs and posts to get a feel for what  it was all about.  As a Navy family, the specter of moving and change is always on our radar and this summer was no different.  I am a structure hound. I wouldn't say I'm compulsive, but in a world where chaos can take over quickly, I find comfort in planning. I knew we would be in transition while all this was unfolding so I made my polymer clay pieces, prepared my goodies and took these pics weeks before, labeled the bag and put it in my suitcase for safe keeping.

So here is what I send my new friend Shanti~
Upper left Sage green polymer clay floral motif focal and two accent beads*. I aged them with a brown patina wash and sealed them for shine. I also found a cool clasp finding* that allowed me to put in my own matching polymer disk.
I added a handful of coordinating sage polymer beads. The other goodies include copper chain, copper toggle clasp, a few copper  barrel beads, jump rings and a pair of copper ear wires. I then threw in some green serpentine rectangles and several strands of mixed gemstone chips.

Lastly, a bit of love~ Shanti kindly commented on some items listed on my FB, Etsy & Art Fire shops including a piece from a series I did called 'Ritidian' (named after the beautiful waters of a beach on Guam). Since she is a beach lover too~ I included a couple of small pieces good for pendant and earrings and a few imt. turquoise nuggets, some bits and beads and 3 fun floral silver accent beads.

I can't wait to see what she creates.
As always, Thanks for reading
