I am a girl who has a lot of artistic interests. I have a core of about five techniques/ mediums that I seem to revolve through and one of my favorites is polymer clay.
I haven't done much with PC in the last couple of months, although I did stock up on a sale a Michaels a while back when the bars of Premo were 87cents each!
Recently I purchased 2 polymer clay tutorials from Ginger Davis Allman of The Blue Bottle Tree. Over the weekend I finally had some time to work with the first tut called "Rustic Beads"
Ginger's teaching style includes lots of photos and clear, concise directions. She takes out all the guess work and leaves you with room to experiment and make these beads your own. I was especially interested in how she made her connectors, head pins and findings. I had such fun, although I have been working with PC for several years this tutorial is set up for everyone to be successful from beginners to expert clayers. If you follow Ginger's blog she shares weekly hints and tips to set you down the path of success.
So here are a few photo's of my efforts. I am LOVING the headpins and plan to make many more. I wonder why I waited so long to try that??
Please consider trying Ginger's tutorial, available through Etsy, by clicking here> The Blue Bottle Tree on ETSY you'll be glad you did. I can't wait to take what I've learned and grow with it!
My pieces are currently available through my Face Book page at TTE Designs
