7000 Bracelets for Hope donation~ sponsored by Znetshows

 Hello Friends,
I interrupt what is normally 'Pinterest Monday' for a special post.

As part of the Znetshows design team we are tasked with producing pieces that spotlight various products. What a nice coincidence when that also supports a charitable organization.

7000 Bracelets for Hope, the Global Genes Project supports people with rare genetic illnesses. They use the color blue [genes = blue jeans] in this effort.

I was gifted with the sea glass and faceted chinese crystals you see on the left and below are the pieces I made from them.

It was suggested that the bracelets be made with variable sizing since we don't know who the recipient will be, so I used memory wire, some elastics and links with a lobster claw and chain to give some flexibility to the wearer.

I'm sending these six off today, along with my best wishes for each recipient. If you would like more information or to participate yourself, click the link above.
Have a wonderful week,
Warm Regards,
Tammie

  1. Very pretty. I've gotten 3 bracelets done so far. Need to go ahead and put up my post, since I'm working on things for my first ever jewelry craft show this weekend.

  2. Oh goodness! You got so much made with your blue beads and they're each so different! Fabulous job working out a way for them to fit differing wrist sizes too. You rock!
