 A Little About Me:  I’m a Navy wife, a mother, a dog lover and an artist… mostly self taught, a life long lover of creating, making, experimenting and tinkering.

Style/Media:  Mixed medium, polymer clay, wire & metal, gem stone beadwork, resin, ephemera, assemblage, up-cycle, repurposing

I discovered blogging in 2009. We were stationed on the beautiful island of Guam in the Pacific and having a blog was a good way to document our adventures and a way for our families and friends back in the states to see what we were up to. Social media like My Space & Face Book were in their infancy and our older relatives weren't using it, but I could email them blog entries so they could keep up to date.  

 When we returned to the States, the need for blogging waned for a while.  I was now putting more energy into my artistic venues. I still really enjoyed reading the blogs of others for fun, inspiration and information ~ and I felt like sharing my creative process too. Thus TTE Designs blog was born. 
  
I try to blog at least twice a week and I have two pretty regular features, Pinterest Monday where I share great inspirational pins and Thrifting Thursday in which I discuss items that I have repurposed, up-cycled or reclaimed into jewelry, craft show displays, or home decor. 

I have been published in several magazines and I am part of the ZnetShows design team so I discuss those sorts of things and I also muse about my participation in different art shows and craft fairs.   I also have entries about our life as a Navy family, my faith and of course ...random things that are on my mind.

I appreciate the opportunity to participate in the 'GROW YOUR BLOG' hop and I hope to discover some new and interesting blogs to follow.  
I hope that you will find TTE Designs worthy of following too.
